  • Startup Turkey, organized by Etohum, a leading accelerator and seed investor organization in Turkey where hundreds of entrepreneurs, mentors, companies and investors from US, Europe, Mena and Asia came together for the 12th time this year. Startups are the stars of this show. They will shine on stage with their quick-fire pitches. The audience is made of invited-only investors, corporates and tech companies who look forward to listening to the most promising startups coming from all around the globe.   • Startup Turkey 2019 takes place on 26-29 April 2019.

  • There will be free WiFi throughout the venue for the entirety of the event.

  • Your badge will be given from the registration desk when you arrive at the venue. It is important to bring your eticket with you to get into the event and to get your event badge.

  • Yes, there is an application to be released soon.

  • The event is targeted at those who are actively engaged or willing to engage in the startup ecosystem. You can register from here

  • A detailed schedule will be made available closer to the event. It will be available on our website and in our attendee app. There will be a boat tour, mentorship days, demo day, conference and finals during 26-29 April.

  • April is the beginning of spring in Istanbul. Temperatures increase significantly and precipitation averages decrease. The weather is usually warm.

  • There is no specific dress code for Startup Turkey, however people tend to dress smart casual.

Travel & Accomotation

  • Unfortunately, we can’t pay for travel expenses for Startup Turkey.

  • We will happily send you an invitation letter once you purchase your ticket. To receive your letter, please email us at [email protected].

Ticketing

  • No, each ticket is valid to be used by one person only for the duration of the conference.

  • All purchases of tickets for conferences and events are non-refundable in their entirety. All demo day ticket sales are final and non-refundable, but can be transferred to a third party (if approved by Startup Turkey team) for 1 time only with written notice at no additional cost. Further changes will be made with a $50 handling fee.

  • You can not sell your Startup Turkey ticket. Doing so will result in a void ticket and the ticket holder will not gain entry into the event. If you have secured a complimentary ticket but have already bought a ticket, you are not eligible for a refund.

  • Unfortunately not. You need your eticket to have access to the Startup Turkey venue.

  • You can purchasehere. Startup 100 tickets can be bought only after the startup selection process. You may apply to pitch at the event here.

  • Yes, it includes 3 Tickets for co-founders

  • Yes. Students can apply for a discounted ticket here. It doesn’t guarantee that you will be eligible for a student ticket. Only a limited number of students can join the event.

Startups

  • You can fill and submit the startup registration form from here.

  • Registered startups will be listed on Startup Turkey mobile application. Via app. you can also proactively propose meetings with investors of all those that have registered.

  • On 29 April, the final day of the event kicks off with the Demo Day where 60+ startups will be pitching on stage. Startup founders have 2,5 minutes to make the pitch of their lives to get the attention of global giants and world’s leading angel investors.

  • If you are a selected startup and purchased your selected startup ticket you can attend the Demo Day.

  • If you are not a selected startup you can purchase an Exhibitor Package. Please refer to our ticket page here.

  • The booths are sized at 1×1 meters. They come with a shelf, lighting and power supply as well as a divider. When planning your presence at your Demo Booth we kindly ask you to avoid too much paper as we try to be as environmentally friendly as possible. You’re more than welcome to replace the papers with digital content.
